From November 12 to 14, the 4th China Nuclear Energy High-Quality Development Conference and Shenzhen International Nuclear Energy Industry Innovation Expo grandly opened. With the theme of “Digital and Intelligent Empowerment, Innovation-Led High-Quality Development of Nuclear Energy,” this year’s Shenzhen Nuclear Expo anchored itself in the strategic direction set by the CPC Central Committee to “actively, safely and orderly develop nuclear power.” New quality productive forces in nuclear energy have accelerated across the board, and independent innovation in nuclear science and technology has reached new heights. With a record-breaking scale demonstrating China’s hard strength in nuclear energy, the exhibition covered an area of 60,000 square meters, bringing together more than 600 leading enterprises from China and abroad to showcase over 50,000 cutting-edge technological achievements. It was the largest event in the history of nuclear energy in China and even the world.

During the conference, the China Electric Power Development Promotion Association and China National Nuclear Corporation jointly hosted the sub-forum themed “High-Quality Marine Development with Unlimited Nuclear Power.” Representatives from the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Water Resources, relevant authoritative institutions, local governments, and upstream and downstream enterprises in the nuclear energy industry attended the event. Focusing on frontier topics such as nuclear power safety and the development of island nuclear power plant sites, the event aimed to build an integrated innovation system of “nuclear technology + marine economy,” actively advancing development through the ocean, strengthening China through the ocean, and responding to the call to build a “New Maritime Guangdong.”


Under the theme of “Unlimited Nuclear Power · Creating the Future Together,” CNNC highlighted the concept of a “New Maritime CNNC,” comprehensively presenting the integrated strength of the full nuclear industry chain and its eight core advantages. The exhibition area not only underscored CNNC’s responsibility and commitment as a leading nuclear industry enterprise—playing a core role in serving the advancement of Chinese modernization, supporting the implementation of the national “three-step” development strategy for nuclear energy, and helping build the Maoming Zero-Carbon Industrial Park—but also showcased CNNC’s cutting-edge scientific and technological achievements in the comprehensive utilization and development of nuclear energy and the digital transformation of the nuclear industry.



This year’s Shenzhen Nuclear Expo focused on the content of “New Maritime CNNC,” centrally showcasing achievements such as uranium extraction from seawater, nuclear fuel, engineering construction, and floating reactors. As one of the core exhibits in the exhibition area, the planning model of the Maoming Zero-Carbon Industrial Park attracted widespread attention as soon as it was unveiled. With Hualong One and high-temperature gas-cooled reactors as the core of its zero-carbon energy supply, the industrial park provides a globally innovative model for the coupled development of nuclear energy and the petrochemical industry, establishes a demonstration brand for green energy solutions in industrial parks, and serves as a model project for practicing the “new development philosophy.”

CNNC’s “8+N” modern industrial system, Hualong One, Linglong One, integrated fast reactor, the new-generation artificial sun “China Circulation-3,” and other advanced nuclear energy technological achievements, along with multiple representative nuclear technology application products, made a concentrated appearance. During the exhibition, CNNC’s booth was packed with visitors. Through models, multimedia interactions, videos, graphic display panels, and other forms, it provided an immersive experience for the audience on site, attracting large numbers of visitors to stop, watch, and exchange ideas.
